This cropped up out of the blue.

My current main computer has become unreliable, often crashing when being given a bit of work, like video processing.
A minor upgrade but video files do need a bit of power.

  1. I like the non-leaking capacitors these ASUS boards come with.

  2. I'm a little bit peeved with AMD, I like their fusion or whatever the name is processors but they've quickly moved from FM1 to FM2 sockets, meaning more cost.
I suspect there was still a cooling issue with the previous Asrock board despite my attempts to improve airflow.
I finally pressed the new setup into use yesterday and it has handled heavy loading fine so far, as it should.
    It's the A10-5800k cpu.
