Barron Gorge.

We took a little detour before heading up to Barron Falls, this hydroelectric power station is the reason the Barron Falls are usually just a tiny dribble. What I find odd is another clean source of power, Nuclear, is never seriously considered here.
There's a railway bridge up there on the track to Kuranda. The powerlines lead out of the power station.
We weren't alone here.
A downer to me was having to walk through a small patch of gravel to access the bridge from the parking area, it would have taken a minuscule amount of extra effort to seal the path when they sealed the road.
