Not inviting water.

I drove a little south of town on Orient Road just to see if I could notice any work done to clear the stream, but it doesn't appear so. This is just downstream from where Francis and Cattle creeks merge, those streams are notorious flood spots where they cross the highway, regularly closing the road. Some work has been done that has improved things so perhaps they didn't need to come this far down.

This is the reason I feel wary about getting close to water in these parts, they're quite a real danger and not the semi-mythical rare endangered species big city folk might believe.
