After two dismal but edible failures I finally scored a decent loaf of bread out of the breadmaker I bought last week. Then sat down to a nice low fat Vegemite treat.

This is a hobby, I like taking photos and a weblog is a good way of learning how to write. I show off stuff around Ingham, NQ, and other parts of Australia when I get around to travelling. I'm not so busy these days as cataracts have reduced the joy I used to have being able to see things but hopefully that will improve and have me more active again soon.
The bread looks good, Jim.
ReplyDeleteVegemite! how the hell do you manage to get that stuff down...the bread looks finger lickn' good... hope the margarine is cholesterol free
ReplyDeleteI think Vegemite is used for testing suspected illegal immigrants.
ReplyDeleteIf I see a low or light label on any food I avoid it, usually the price is padded for food labelled that way, so that was generic margarine, $1.98 per kilo tub.
Done another loaf today with generic cheap flour and surprisingly it turned out OK 8^)
