I think homesick Aussies may have carved this oddity in Pommyland back in WWI days.
Strange that I had never heard of it till today, it should be a mecca for traveling Aussies.

This is a hobby, I like taking photos and a weblog is a good way of learning how to write. I show off stuff around Ingham, NQ, and other parts of Australia when I get around to travelling. I'm not so busy these days as cataracts have reduced the joy I used to have being able to see things but hopefully that will improve and have me more active again soon.
Ha! I had to look up what "Pommyland" meant.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should have spelt (USA=spelled) it Pommieland, but even then only the Poms and Aussies would know what I meant.
